Advance Level

The Advanced Level is designed for learners who aim to use English fluently, persuasively, and precisely in academic, professional, and global social contexts. At this stage, students focus on mastering advanced language skills, understanding cultural nuances, and producing refined spoken and written communication.

Course Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Communicate fluently in complex discussions, presentations, and debates

Understand and produce advanced level spoken and written English

Compose polished, professional, and creative written pieces

Apply critical thinking skills to evaluate texts, arguments, and ideas

Grasp tone, irony, sarcasm, and implied meaning in various contexts

Read and analyze challenging academic and literary texts

Edit and refine spoken and written work to achieve greater precision and impact

Build greater confidence in public speaking, professional correspondence, and academic writing

Vocabulary Expansion

  • Idiomatic expressions and native-level collocations

  • Phrasal verbs in formal and informal contexts

  • Specialized vocabulary for areas like business, law, science, and media

Grammar Foundations

  • Subjunctive mood for formal and hypothetical expressions

  • Inversion for emphasis and stylistic variety (e.g., Rarely had I seen such clarity)

  • Mastery of complex sentence structures and stylistic refinement

Speaking Skills

  • Participating in sophisticated discussions and debates

  • Using colloquialisms and figurative language appropriately

  • Delivering high-impact presentations and persuasive arguments

Listening Skills

  • Understanding fast-paced, layered speech in podcasts, debates, and films

  • Identifying tone shifts, sarcasm, rhetorical devices, and implied meaning

  • Interpreting spoken content with minimal support

Reading Practice

  • Analyzing academic papers, editorials, literary works, and journal articles

  • Understanding author intent, subtlety, and cultural references

  • Improving critical thinking and interpretation

Writing Skills

  • Composing research papers, critical essays, and reports

  • Writing formal correspondence, grant proposals, and policy documents

  • Practicing creative writing—stories, reflections, and opinion columns

Course Duration

  • Total Duration: 12 Weeks

  • Sessions: 2 sessions per week 

  • Class Time: 60 minutes per session
