At this stage, learners move beyond the basics and become more independent users of English. This level focuses on improving fluency, building a wider vocabulary, and using grammar structures accurately to communicate in real-life and professional situations.

Course Objectives
By the end of this course, you will be able to:

Handle conversations in a range of everyday and professional contexts

Use complex grammar like conditionals, passive voice, and reported speech

Gain the confidence to express your thoughts in both speech and writing

Organize your ideas logically to create well-structured arguments and narratives

Understand and summarize dialogues, interviews, and factual texts

Write detailed letters, essays and descriptions with clarity

Edit and proofread your own writing to enhance accuracy and style

Adapt your language and tone depending on the audience and purpose

Vocabulary Expansion

  • Vocabulary related to health, workplace communication, education, and technology

  • Words and phrases to help with narrating events and expressing opinions

  • Learn idiomatic expressions and vocabulary for expressing opinions and experiences

Grammar Foundations

  • First and second conditionals

  • Reported speech (e.g., “She said she was busy.”)

  • Passive voice (e.g., “The report was written yesterday.”)

  • Relative clauses (e.g., “The person who helped me...”)

  • Review and strengthen previous grammar concepts

Speaking Skills

  • Lead and join in detailed conversations

  • Narrate past events and share opinions

  • Participate in discussions about current events and general topics

  • Give basic presentations

Listening Skills

  • Understand natural-speed conversations

  • Following instructions and presentations with moderate complexity

  • Identify main ideas, opinions, and key information

  • Comprehend presentations and real-life instructions

  • Listening to TV shows, films, interviews, and identifying opinions and main ideas

Reading Practice

  • Reading more complex texts articles, and informational texts

  • Extracting main ideas, details, and inferred meanings from factual content

  • Interpreting different tones and writing styles

Writing Skills

  • Writing clear, organised opinion essays and summaries

  • Describing experiences and viewpoints in organized paragraphs

  • Using connectors and transitional phrases effectively

Course Duration
